What brings you that inner smile when thinking about your favourite places?

For me it’s the influence of light and colour that resonates the most.  From the patchwork hills and sun-drenched paths that meander the shadow filled trees of the Cotswolds, to the sun-kissed vines and vibrant parasols of the Cote d’Azur.

As an artist I look to capture this mood and essence in my work. My style is a unique fusion of influences focused on the visual dance of light and shadow, the interplay of shapes, form and colour.  Contemporary compositions where each stroke is bold, deliberate and yet spontaneous, blending a delicate balance between abstract and impressionism.
