My abstract paintings explore the interplay of opposing yet interconnected forces — freedom and control, movement and stillness, spontaneity and intention.

At the heart of my work is the search to find that elusive balance.  The point where contrasts coexist in harmony, each giving meaning and energy to the other.

Through instinctive mark-making, layered textures and tension between colour and from, I explore the perfectly imperfect balance that reflects our constantly shifting world.

For me, every painting is a journey of discovery, where the destination is not a place, but a feeling.
